Uh, ok, well then Pat Caddel isn't even ... what, a has-been political hack no one's even heard of who'd be one of America's 9.4% if Fox hadn't hired him (part time)?
Oh Krugman did some good work on trade theory in the 80s, which he won the Nobel for, but he has mostly abandoned that since then and become a crank. A Bill O'Reilly with a PhD.
I'll grant you that he's highly opinionated and doesn't hide that fact. But at least his opinions are always backed up with serious data. Like today's post:

Krugman has moved from economics into sociology. Pretty much everything he writes these days is nothing but shrill punditry.
